The Ska Banton are a Surabaya Ska band, formed in November 2011. The band's sound is a mix of ska, rocksteady, reggae, mento, calypso, dub, soul,oldies, punk, hardcore and jazz.
The Ska Banton is a side project from several Ska band member in Surabaya like Lembayung & Friends, Little Skank, and Heavy Monster.
History and career
The founders of The Ska Banton were Rizky Martha, Bintang Simatupang, Irwin Aldila, and Trieta Rhodes. These musicians play together in Lembayung & friends, Rizky Martha and Irwin Aldila also played with ska-core band Little Skank.
The first time the band perform at the event Skatoday by Surabaya Skankin People Community at Caffee Two-D in November 2011.
